Canada Must Have Felt Like Losing Again, Tried To Start A Fight With Team USA In The Bowels Of TQL Stadium After Last Night's Match

We got ourselves a screaming match! Hey, I don't blame Canada. They want to be Team USA so bad. They want to be our rival instead of Mexico. They want to be kings of CONCACAF because of World Cup qualifying as if winning that matters (it doesn't). So despite us having our C team + Matt Turner, they still couldn't beat us. Maybe don't give up an own goal or learn how to make PK's and you'd have a shot. 

You know what? This makes me want to fire Gregg (again) just to keep BJ Callaghan. Does this look like a coach who was made to be manager of the US National Team? Does this look like a coach who knows how to scrap in soccer?

Mind you he hasn't lost yet as interim manager, give me a little beefy guy who probably has his team practice scrapping. That's the sort of guy we need leading our country's team. I want a manager who could probably kick all the other manager's asses. Him and Matt Turner would wipe out all of Canada's team, no doubt in my mind. Just add that to the list of things Matt Turner does great: 

I do love the guy yelling 'move it back'. I don't know who that is and I don't need to know, but that man is a dad through and through. That's a man who has yelled at his kids to calm down once or twice on a roadtrip. That's a man who just wanted to go home, maybe stop at Skyline on the way. Nothing like eating some late night coneys and feeling great in the morning. 

I'm also well aware that this is soccer and would have just been some shoving and falling down. But still, we got ourselves a little tussle in the bowels of TQL Stadium. Love it. Also love that the match was chippy as hell. The teams were fighting about coin flips, moving back to the midfield line during PK's and everything else. But here's a little fact for Canada. We're going to win. We win head games. We win soccer matches. We're going to win the fight. Kings of CONCACAF no matter what team we send.
