No. 3 MLB Draft Pick Max Clark's High School Stats Are Patently Absurd

It's usually pretty hard to get excited when your favorite MLB team drafts a high school kid in the first round. There are the hardos who will tell you they've watched every YouTube video available and they're certain this guy is going to be a stud, but 99 percent of fans know absolutely nothing about any high school prospects and will just wait to see how it all pans out in five years or so.
But if you're a Tigers fan, it would be hard to not be excited about No. 3 overall pick Max Clark after seeing his high school stats. Really look at those numbers for a second. A 2.023 OPS last season. On base in 71 percent of his career at-bats. Yes, every high school kid taken in the first round is going to have great statistics, but those are superhuman.
I'm sure there are plenty of guys who have had an .800 OBP in high school and flamed out in pro ball, but I'll take my chances on those kinds of numbers 11 times out of 10. This kid's swag is off the charts, too. Great pick.
