Awesome Moment: Charles Barkley Notifies Ernie Johnson He Has Been Selected For The Sports Broadcasting Hall Of Fame

Just an awesome moment. For all the shit people give broadcasters and play by play guys, and studio hosts (me being one of the most critical in the world when it comes to that) , I don't think there's a single person that has a bad word to say about Ernie Johnson. I also think he's one of the most likable guys in the world, and he's excellent at what he does. To be the referee, and middle man on a panel of bigger than life personalities like Shaq, Kenny and Barkley is a super difficult job, and he does it really well while also being super informative and entertaining himself. He's terrific in every aspect. 

Research Ernie Johnson for about three seconds and you'll see he's just the absolute best. This Alabama video makes me cry every time.

If that's not enough he beat cancer ... 

And sadly lost his son Michael and had such a poignant message on his life and life in general. 

Really cool to see Charles genuine excitement for not only his colleague, but his friend was awesome to see. I hope this TNT broadcast team stays together forever. Congrats to Ernie Johnson … one of the good ones.
