Shoutout To This Guy For Finding A Loophole To Make Popcorn On A Flight, Which I Assume Will Be The Last Time After The FAA Sees This

Airports are an absolute shit show, especially this week where 7 million flights are delayed, and even if you by some miracle take off and land, you are sitting on the tarmac for hours at a time. Even before all these delays airports were always an insane place. You find yourself eating Buffalo Wild Wings with Glenny Balls at Newark at 8am because nothing else is open, people are hogging charging ports, there's weird characters, no one knows how to put their luggage through, everyone's angry, and no one likes being there. It's the 5th circle of hell.

I always feel like I see something bizarre in an airport, or an airplane. Today is no different as someone has now shown us how to make popcorn via Hot Hands, and what looks like the coat they give you after a marathon. I commend this guy for his creativity, and also his knowledge of a good snack, because microwaved popcorn is a top tier treat and I won't hear anything different, and I also commend him for finding a loophole in the system ... I always respect people who find loopholes.

On the other hand, I worry for him that by going super viral he has now guaranteed this was the last time he could pull off this little stunt. There is absolutely no way on earth the FAA allows this again. They know if you move your seat back too much, they have eyes on seatbelts, they limit you to a 6 oz cup for your drink ... they want control (rightfully so I respect our safety , so they ain't gonna be letting some guy whip out 4 pairs of Hot Hands and make a bag of extra butter Orville Redenbacher on a mid day flight home from Orlando. No chance.

In this situation you have to ask yourself if you were this guy, was it worth it? Was it worth it to spread your secret with people to possibly allow them to do this on their next flight, if it meant the FAA sees it and shuts you down forever? If I was him I would say yes it was. I got to enjoy my popcorn (even if it was for 1 last time) and now every time I try to do it again, there's a little more risk involved ... you're the bad boy of the skies.
