MANUEL TORRES JUST LANDED THE MOST VICIOUS ELBOW KO OF THE YEAR

HELLBOW ALERT!

My god - what a knockout from Manuel Torres! I think we all had a feeling that fight would be a quick one, but I'm not sure anybody could've predicted just how violent that finish was gonna get. That clip above doesn't even do justice to how vicious (and unnecessary) the follow up shots were; but they still weren't the worst ground-and-pound shots of the night....

Seriously - what the fuck was the ref thinking there?! Bondar was out cold after the slam! EVERY one of those shots was unnecessary.

This moves Manuel Torres up to 2-0 in the UFC with two first round finishes in a row, and it'd be three first round finishes in a row if they counted the Contender Series fights. 

Lightweight is obviously as STACKED as its ever been, but I think this guy could climb the ranks real quick if he stays active. He's got a super exciting balls-to-the-wall style that the UFC must LOVE, and he's yet another fighter outta Mexico on the rise in 2023. Hell of a time for Mexican MMA.

There's still a couple fights left on the card before we get to our main event of Marvin Vettori vs Jared Cannonier, so flip on over to ESPN if you've got nothin else going on. There's few things better than Saturday night fights.
