The Vegas Golden Knights Were Never Going To Lose Tonight After Bringing 50 Cent Into The Barn

If you're looking to win a Stanley Cup, you need to do all of the little things. You need to take a hit in order to gain the red line so you can dump the puck deep. You need to win all the battles for loose pucks in the corner. You need to get pucks on net.

And most importantly…you need to set the tone. The best way to set the tone before a potential Cup clinching win at home for the first time in franchise history? Simple. Just bring 50 in the house.

No idea what the connection between 50 Cent and the Vegas Golden Knights is. I have no idea if he's a fan of the team or if he was just in town coincidentally. All I know is that the moment the Golden Knights decided to have 50 Cent crank the siren before game 5, there wasn't a shot in hell they were losing this game. Shit was locked up before the very first puck drop.

But just for good measure, Mark Stone and his gigantic knob decided to get the party going.

Short handed, top bunk from the top of the crease. What a sick puppy. The first captain in Vegas Golden Knights history and he picks up a sick goal on what could very well be the night this team gets it done.

And sure, I know there's 40 minutes of hockey still to be played at the time I'm writing this blog. But they're down 3-1 in the series, down 2-0 after the first period, and they have no Tkachuk. The Panthers are just as ready to just wrap this thing up as Vegas is. 50 Cent deserves the Conn Smythe.
