Oh No: Texas Loses Game 3 Of A Super Regional On A Routine Pop-Up Lost In The Lights With Two Outs In The Ninth Inning

Oh my, this is BRUTAL. Two outs, tie game, bottom of the ninth and your pitcher gets a pop-up to send it to extras and then ... yikes.

That has to be the most helpless feeling in the world for those Texas defenders. You know the ball is somewhere up there in the lights and you just can't find it. What a tough way to lose a chance to play in the College World Series.

The Longhorns seemed destined to go on the road and win this Super Regional, too, after scoring five runs in the ninth inning of Game 1 to come from behind late and win 7-5. The ninth inning heartbreak goes around and comes around, I suppose.

You won't see too many wins like this one. Tough scenes for the Horns.
