In His First Two Games In The Bigs Elly De La Cruz Proved He's Electric As Advertised And Is Here To Save Reds Baseball With His God-Like, Must-Watch Abilities

We knew Elly De La Cruz was electric, but I don't think we were ready for this. Fresh off a fun showing in his MLB debut, baseball's top prospect had more in store for the world on Wednesday night. You heard about the elite, Paul Bunyan-like power, but have you seen it? How about a homer that nearly leaves the stadium?

You got a taste of the elitespeed on Tuesday seeing him easily reach reach 2nd on a double before almost catching the ahead baserunner on the ensuing hit, but why not check him out motoring across the bases for a triple?

Reds fans could not have asked for more from Elly De La Cruz in these opening two games of his career. He's quite literally capable of doing anything on the diamond. It's all you want out of a phenom rookie bursting onto the scene. It's been two fucking games and he's already reached "stop what you're doing and watch him" territory.

In the De La Cruz era the Reds are 2-0 with two epic come from behind walk off wins. The city must be buzzing. They went from some of the lowest attendance in the league to having fans losing their goddamn minds.

P.S. Gotta love the guy who caught the home run ball giving it back to Cruz no problem and getting all his boys involved. You catch a record breaking homer you have every right to hang onto the ball and get your reward.
