Dana White On Dream Slap Fights: Portnoy Beats Goodell, Jordan Beats LeBron

A few days ago, I got word that Dana White wanted to talk a little Power Slap with me to announce the next event (July 7th in Las Vegas), so I hopped on Zoom with the boss man and had a nice little chat about the Slap promotion, the MMA media shitting on my "journalistic integrity" after the UFC flew me out and put me up in a hotel room last month, when the next Power Slap show will be, and more!

At the end of the interview, I put a few fantasy "Power Slap" matchups in front of Dana and had him select a winner; matchups that included LeBron James vs Michael Jordan (where he picked Jordan easily - video above), Mike Tyson vs Muhammed Ali, The Incredible Hulk vs Superman, and Dave Portnoy vs Roger Goodell….

After we finished the interview, Dana and I got to talking about this quote of his that made headlines a bunch this week….

….and Dana told me he was pretty annoyed with some construing it like it's been a struggle trying to convince Conor McGregor to fight. He then reiterated to me that Conor is absolutely coming back to fight Michael Chandler at either the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024, and said I could put that out there for all to read.

Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later, because we've got The Ultimate Fighter on ESPN every week now and it's just making me want to see McGregor back in the cage (with Chandler especially) that much more. He even broke out the Austin Powers stair gag this week….

That's my GOAT right there. Khabib would never.
