Taylor Swift And Matty Healy Are Officially BROKEN UP (Allegedly, Fingers Crossed)

Taylor Swift and Matty Healy are shaking it off when it comes to their relationship -- the singers have broken up ... TMZ has learned.

According to a friend close to the situation ... Taylor is in fact "single" again, although it's still unclear exactly why they've now split up.

It was a pretty whirlwind romance ... just last month Matty popped up at all 3 of Tay Tay's Nashville concerts, right on the heels of news she and Joe Alwyn had split after 6 years together.

I think I speak for all of us when I say....good riddance! I'm not going to pile onto Matty Healy, I don't know who he is or what he actually means when he speaks. Everyone thinks he's an asshole, but then everyone also says "he's not that bad its all a joke!" All I know is I'm sick of hearing about him. Even The New Yorker has done a profile on him at this point:

Who wins this breakup? Matty for sure. More people know about him than ever, and all press is good press. Taylor wins too, solely bc she shouldn't give a fuck about any of this. She's a strong, smart, independent woman who don't need no fucking man. She's busy announcing all of her new vault tracks for Speak Now (Taylor's Version) out July 7th. (Hayley Williams!!!! PS - I think she still misses Joe. I'm holding out hope.
