Fake Bulletin Board Material For The Heat: TV Cameras Caught Michael Malone Guaranteeing The Nuggets Win A Game In Miami

I love seeing something like this on Twitter and immediately people losing their shit. By people I mean mostly Heat fans and somehow Lakers fans. It's honestly sad to see Lakers fans on Twitter still trying to take shots at Michael Malone who rightfully called out everyone in media for talking about the Lakers only. 

But, uh, what else is Malone supposed to say here? He's talking to his team and this is exactly what any normal person says in this situation. It's all about winning one in Miami and keeping homecourt advantage. Of course if you're a Heat fan or an anti-Nuggets person, you're not going to like this. You don't want to hear a guarantee because it's fake bulletin board material. Again, I know the Heat thrive on this shit, but it's what every single coach in the world says in this situation. 

I also know Malone is catching a lot of shit for not calling timeout at the end of the game last night. That's one I don't really understand. You had the ball in Murray's hands. You got the high ball screen from Jokic which is exactly what you want. It wasn't even a bad look from Murray to tie it up:

Ideally you don't want Butler to end up on Murray in this situation, but a timeout doesn't fix that. Again, if Murray makes it people claim Malone is a genius for not calling a timeout. 

All I know is these NBA Finals are awesome. You have two elite coaches. You have the obvious superstars in Jokic and Jimmy. You have the star sidekicks in Murray and Bam. You have all these guys who just understand their roles. Last night's game was perfect, mostly because of the last 5 minutes. No fouling, no timeouts, just going out and playing basketball. It was damn near perfect to watch. 

Just don't start doing this fake bulletin board material.
