Jerry Seinfeld Turned Down A STAGGERING Amount of Money To Make One More Season

I simply cannot imagine turning this kind of money down even if I was insanely rich. One more year and you set generations of your family up for life. With money like that, you could taste every single pizza on earth and become the spokesperson for a DELICIOUS drink like High Noon made with real fruit and real tequila.

TLDW: Jerry turned down 110 million dollars to make one more season. 110 MILLION. It is equivalent to 1 billion pennies, or 10 million dollars in hundred-dollar bills. A penny weighs approximately 2.5 grams. A billion pennies would weigh 2,500 metric tons. 2,500 metric tons is equivalent to the weight of around 250 adult elephants or 1,250 cars. It would take multiple trucks or shipping containers to transport this amount of weight. Needless to say, that's a ton of money. Well, a couple of tons.

But, there is something to be said for going out on top. Elway did it. Lincoln did it. Elvis did it if you're a peanut butter sandwich in the bathroom kinda guy which I am.

Don't cry for ole Jerry though. The dude has made an estimated 40-50 million per year simply on syndication and royalties. That'll do, Turkish. That'll do.

Also, Jerry might have turned it down because he knew he'd have those massive syndication monies flying in the bank so he knew that he could one day say he turned down 110 million dollars. What a story that would be and Jerry was 1000 percent correct. Anyone who wouldn't turn down the money is an idiot. It's as simple as that.
