We Got The Official Trailer For The Upcoming Movie About The Frito-Lay Janitor That Invented Flamin' Hot Cheetos And It Looks Good!

You know what? I'm just gonna come out and say it. I think that trailer looked good and I'm interested in seeing the movie. Yes I know I am clearly part of the target demographic here considering I am clearly a very large man that loves his snacks to the point I have been blessed with the nickname The Many Snacks God and snacking has become my identity along with my fellow Big Boy Eddie on The Dozen.

However that movie looks like a good time that is full of nostalgia and deals with the history of something people like, in this case snacks. It actually kinda reminds me of the junk food version of "Air", which was another movie based on a true story that I found delightful. Sure you don't have Oscar winners in Matt Damon and Ben Affleck steering the ship. But Dennis Haysbert has never steered me wrong, whether it was him portraying Pedro Cerrano, President Palmer (the best fictional president ever), or just a dude trying to sling you All State insurance. And I have long been a fan of director Eva Longoria, even though I wasn't aware of her directing prowess.

Plus let's be honest, you can try to downplay a movie about the flavor of a snack. But Flamin' Hot has become a fucking dynasty in grocery stores with that red stripe appearing everywhere instead of just Cheetos You have Flamin' Hot Doritos, Flamin' Hot Ruffles, Flamin' Hot Smartfood, even Flamin' Hot motherfucking Funyuns. Richard Montañez changed the damn world with his flavor and did so starting out as a janitor, which every common man and woman will love.

So my local movie theater can count me in for a $15 or whatever they charge these days ticket since I will be watching as I of course eat...popcorn. Sorry, I like Flamin' Hot foods. But the movies are strictly a popcorn experience for me, mayyyybe with some M&Ms or Reese's Pieces on the side if I am feeling feisty.
