James Harden Continues To Be The Most Clutch Playoff Performer You've Ever Seen, Evens Series At 2-2 For Sixers

Holy shit. Thank god for James Harden. Thank god that overtime is only 5 minutes long and not a tenth of a second longer for that Marcus Smart shot to count.

The Sixers did everything we have come to know and hate them to do in situations like this. They had a huge lead late in a must-win game. A loss this afternoon would all but wrap up yet another disappointing and embarrassing 2nd round exit for this franchise. Anyone who has been around the Sixers for long enough knows that these idiots typically piss down their leg in moments like these. And they did. They blew the lead, Boston came back, and they were a buzzer beater miss from Marcus Smart away from losing the game in regulation.

But then comes overtime. And again, shit wasn't pretty. But somehow they got it done, James Harden continues to be as clutch as they come in these playoffs, and now we have a best-of-3 on our hands here.

By the way, the fact that James Harden brought John Hao out to the game this afternoon and gave him his shoes after hitting that game winner was awesome.

I'm not looking forward to these next 3 games at all, but I think the sports gods might actually be on the Sixers' side for once. At least we can hope.

Play the song!
