Gonna Need Every Knicks Fan To Be Like RJ Barrett And Shut Down Any Idiot Talking About Upsets, Injuries Or Any Other Bad Juju

This right here is the most important message for any single Knicks fan out there. I've gone a bone to pick with some of my fellow fans. I've seen far too much 'oh the series against the Heat...' Shut the fuck up! That's the best way I can put it. We haven't beaten the Cavs yet. It's only 3-1. Crazy things happen. We're still the Knicks so I will always have some sort of underlying doubt to fight and convince myself good things are actually happening.

But look at RJ's face right here. This is how it should be. This is how every single Knicks fan should react whenever someone says something that's bad juju. I firmly believe in bad juju for sports. In fact it's as important as your schemes or anything else. You can't have fans talking all outlandish when there's still a game to win.

This is who RJ should be though. A damn good player the last two games. A big reason why the Knicks are up 3-1 after a slow first two games. He's looked like a No. 3 pick the last couple games. Now he's showing the correct leadership here. I only wish he'd go more against the reporter here. Tell him to shut up. Tell him to never say that in front of him again. The Knicks aren't even in the Garden tonight! Winning on the road isn't easy and they need to close it out.

Again, this is all relatively new to me. I was used to the Knicks in the playoffs in the 90s. My childhood and formative years were spent watching Starks, Ewing, Oakley, Mason, Houston, etc in April and May every year. Now? Now I was used to seeing photoshops that went to hell. I was used to coaching turnover and front offices making dumb decisions. Hell, even Julius Randle is talking about being benched in game 4 correctly:

Game 5. That's all that matters. Nothing else. I don't want to hear any words besides Game 5.
