Denzel Is Wasting Mafiosos In The First Trailer For 'The Equalizer 3'

Robert McCall finds himself at home in Southern Italy but he discovers his friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the mafia.

While it's not in the same quality tier, I think the Equalizer franchise is one of the few action IPs running right now that has been as consistent as John Wick. Both the first and second movies and both had great hand-to-hand fights, gunplay, and badass lines. What more could you want? Well, if you wanted ole Robert McCall to go abroad, your wish has been granted. Granted, I think all you need to do is hear the translated chants from the stands in a Series A game to know that McCall probably wouldn't be getting embraced as family in Italy….

Anyway, there isn't much to say other than watching a man get a barrel of a revolver shoved through his eye socket is sick as hell and that I'm ready to watch some mafioso's get blown away. I'll also be sure to listen to the eventual follow up pod from Nadu saying theres no way they'd go down that easy. The movie has the same director and a lot of the same crew of the first two movies so we should expect to be on the same level. I also have to note that seeing Denzel and Dakota Fanning reunite 20 years after 'Man on Fire' released is awesome.
