Jimmy Butler Went Into Milwaukee, Took Game 1, Then Immediately Hopped On IG To Troll The Bucks

One of the biggest surprises from yesterday's slate of games has to be what the Heat did to the Bucks on the road in Game 1. Even without Giannis, once the Heat lost Tyler Herro to a broken hand they still were able to get whatever they wanted against the Bucks defense. All this talk about the Bucks depth and how good Middleton/Holiday/Lopez are, one would think they'd be able to take care of a Heat team that might not even be all that good.

But as we know, Playoff Jimmy Butler moves the needle. He was incredible for the second straight game

and the beauty of Playoff Jimmy isn't just what he does on the floor, which at this point you have no choice but to respect, but also what comes off it after a dominant performance like this

That's a fantastic troll. 10 out of 10, no notes.

Naturally, if you look on your timeline you'll see a lot of upset Bucks fans talk about how those aren't even bucks and that Jimmy is a moron. Hey guys, that's the joke. He looks at you and does not see these big bad bucks. When a guy comes into your building and has the type of performance like Butler had, he can talk all the shit he wants as far as I'm concerned. That's sports. That's playoff basketball. If you don't like it, do something about it. Maybe protect your homecourt, or learn how to guard the perimeter.

Now there is some risk to this. Series are not won in Game 1. There's a lot of basketball left to be played in this series, and from the looks of things it seems like Giannis should be good to go for Game 2 in a couple days

We know Tyler Herro is done, his broken hand will have him out for 4-6 weeks, so the Heat definitely still have an uphill battle to climb if they want to move on. The one thing I do know is that you can bet your ass Playoff Jimmy Butler is going to back up his trash talk, the question be will the "others" do their part? I suppose it doesn't really matter what happens in Game 2 since the Heat did what they had to do and split the first two games, but I am all for whatever adds more drama to this series. First round series are usually pretty quick, so we have to enjoy the shit talking while we can.
