Jeff Bezos Is Officially OUT Of The Commanders Buying Process, And The Sale Could Be Finalized If Dan Snyder Wasn't Such A Pain In The Ass

PFT - If, as it appears, the recent settlement with the powers-that-be in D.C. regarding the alleged withholding of season-ticket security deposits counts as evidence that owner Daniel Snyder soon will be selling the team, Snyder won’t be selling it to billionaire more than a hundred times over Jeff Bezos.

Theodore Schleifer of Puck.news reports that Bezos “is not in the bidding process and is not currently planning to make a bid” for the Commanders.

So if Puck.news is a real website, which I'm not really sure about but whatever, then it's official that Jeff Bezos is out of the running to buy the Commanders.

What does that mean?

Well it means what I've been saying for a month now- the Josh Harris group is buying the team, but Dan Snyder is being a pain in the fucking ass getting it done. It's typical Dan Snyder. He knows he has to sell. He knows this is happening. But he's going out of his way to drag out the process and make it as big of a headache as humanly possible. I don't know why we expected anything else. I cannot begin to imagine the headaches the layers on both sides are going through. Snyder being his typical WOAT self, nickel and diming everyone in the process, still being his piece of shit self, only because he wants to be a dickhead.

He can just let it go. He can sail into the sunset with $6 billion in his pocket, but he'd rather make everyone's life living hell one last time. In a way it's admirable how committed to the bit he is. He wasn't going to relent, he was never going to let anything be easy. He was this way for 25 years owning the team, so I suppose he had no reason to stop now.

Even if Dan tried to not sell the team at the last minute, the owners will vote him out anyway. And I have a feeling now that Bezos is officially out, Snyder won't be able to leak anything or manipulate anyone into driving up the price. Just sign the papers dude, and move on. It's over. It's done. You lose. GOOD DAY SIR! I SAID GOOD DAY!
