The First Teaser For 'The Batman' Spin-off Series 'The Penguin' Is Here And it Rocks

It follows the transformation of Oswald Cobblepot from a disfigured nobody to a noted Gotham gangster.

One of the coolest movies to come out of 2022 was Matt Reeves 'The Batman'. In every way that the Nolan's trilogy was a straightforward popcorn iteration of the character, the Reeves version was a down and dirty detective story. The entire cast crushed their respective roles and it proved to be as good as every batman movie other than the Dark Knight in my eyes. 

One of the best performances was from Colin Farrell as The Penguin. The dude was absolutely unrecognizable in the role and was more than interesting enough to warrant more exploration. This series has Farrell reprising the role with 2 names coming in with Cristin Miloti and Michael Kelly. Reeves is joining in as a producer and the show will be run by Craig Zobel, who directed all of 'Mare of Easttown' as well as episodes of 'Westworld' and 'The Leftovers'. 

The Batman was good enough that I'm down for whatever Reeves thinks he is capable of.
