Taylor Swift Is Officially Single and Back On The Market!

TMZ - There's nothing like a familiar face for Taylor Swift in the wake of her split from Joe Alwyn ... as she's getting by with a little help from her pal and longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff. T. Swift hit NYC's West Village Monday night for a bite at Via Carota, and, apparently, has no issues being the third wheel ... now that she's single. She dined with Jack and his fiancée, actress Margaret Qualley.

The timing of the trio's night out for some Italian is interesting for a couple of reasons. First, Taylor's hardly looking super sad -- at least on the outside -- which might support the theory her breakup from Joe didn't go down all that recently.

Secondly, freshly heartbroken folks rarely wanna hang out with freshly in love couples ... like Jack and Margaret, for instance. They got engaged last May after about a year of dating -- so, again, we'd guess Taylor wouldn't be in the mood to catch up on Margaret and Jack's wedding plans ... IF she and Joe had just broken up.

As we reported, news of Taylor and Joe's demise, after 6 years of dating, leaked over the weekend, but they hadn't been seen together in public in a long time -- and some fans noticed he hadn't been at any of her Eras Tour shows either.

So far, neither is saying exactly when they split ... or who called things off.

First thing's first. I knew I loved Taylor from the first second I heard "Red" and I could feel it in my plums. Ever since then it's been a cat-and-mouse game of her playing hard to get, trying to make me jealous by dating my DJ idol, Calvin Harris, then Loki, and then this no-name actor Joe.

But now, with Taylor making her first public appearance at my 2nd favorite NYC Italian restaurant, Via Carota, (Sidebar - I can't post my #1 on here because it's already too crowded, but the rest goes Via Carota > Monte's > Frankies 457 > Michael's > Don Angie > Arturo's) it's very apparent that the game is back on. 

Message received loud and clear, babe.

I'm glad we can call this latest fling a wrap, as Joe also wasn't able to tame the wild horse and got bucked off. Respect for lasting 6 years, though. Good job, good effort.

The haters are already out in full force, pointing the finger at Taylor, saying she's the issue. A headcase who can't keep a man. But the jokes on all you Poppa Doc idiots. She already  ̶r̶a̶p̶p̶e̶d̶ ̶a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶S̶h̶e̶l̶t̶e̶r̶ sang about this in her hit song - 

What these morons fail to understand is that Taylor only writes songs flaming her exes when they're in the wrong. When they mistreat her, and hurt her. By all accounts, this was an amicable breakup between two people whose relationship just ran it's course. In the past 6 years, Taylor is an even bigger megastar than she was, embarking on a year-long international tour that should generate her upwards of 200 million dollars. Joe is also busy, starring in Cinemax's series "The Souvenir II". Life happens and gets in the way. People grow apart. It happens. Doesn't mean there has to be a hero, an antihero, or a villain. 

From what I've read from the experts, they're saying that Taylor should dial it back in her next relationship, and rather than looking for another Hollywood celebrity, or big A-List name, she should take a page out of Arianna Grande's playbook and find herself a nice average joe that will appreciate her and treat her right. 

Perhaps a very mediocre dj and blogger who dedicated a 3 hour love-letter mix to her?
