I Was On TV. Castellani SZN Is Officially In Full Effect
"People keep asking if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer. But now, yeah, I'm thinkin' I'm back."
Castellani SZN is well under way
There's something about television that just hits different. It could be a generational thing. I've been fortunate enough to meet some of my heroes in the last two years. I've traveled on private jets, and I've had videos that went crazy viral, but it's being on television that makes people freak out the most. Even I just got fired up about it, because any shmuck can talk into their phone (I know this because I am that shmuck), but television? That's the big-time shit.
For people who might not be aware, this was essentially Bally Sport's attempt to capture the magic of the Manningcast. Former players and local celebs sat and chilled out with my friend Johnny Kane and talked while the Tigers took a thrashing at the hands of the Boston Red Sox. I'll be the first to admit the broadcast itself was substantially more entertaining than the game. Sadly, I must also admit that the entire 19-minute interview is not available, but I can assure you it's the best I've sounded since...last year? I don't know, something just felt right. Even I can get hot sometimes. It's not everyday when you find yourself inside the television. Also, a Michigan native and personal idol of mine, J.K. Simmons (huge Tigers fan), appeared for an inning or two, chatting it up with former Tiger manager Jim Leyland. This means that I can officially claim to have worked professionally with the great J.K. Simmons. I have worked with Terrance Fletcher, and I have worked with J Jonah Jameson. What a world.
Do you know what I love? Do you really want to know what I love? I love seeing "Barstool Sports" under my name. That shit gets me going. It's like when actors have "Academy Award Winner" by their name in a movie trailer. It just means more. And yes, I acknowledge that my ego has been temporarily inflated, but I need to run with this because it won't last long. This is Castellani SZN. What is Castellani SZN? You'll have to wait and see, but trust me. It will be awesome. Much like the series finales of "Game Of Thrones," "Roseanne," and "Seinfeld," everyone will universally love it, and it will exceed expectations. No more debbie downer shit or cryptic tweets on my end. You're gonna see a lot of my face. I'm hungry, but more importantly, I'm that guy you might've seen on TV.
