I Still Cannot Believe How Badly Vince McMahon Screwed Up The Ending Of WrestleMania

It's been four days since Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes in the center of the ring at WrestleMania and I still can't believe it.

In the span of one month, the WWE pissed away what would've been the TWO most feel-good moments since Daniel Bryan won the titles in the main event of WrestleMania 30, in letting Sami Zayn beat Reigns in Montreal or letting Cody beat him at WrestleMania, and for what?! The accolade of Roman hitting 1000 days as champ?! WHO CARES?!

I know wrestling fans love to "let things play out" - but this story has been going on for three years straight now, and we've seen the past three consecutive WrestleManias end the exact same way. Does the fourth movie in a series get better if the first three all have the same conclusion or something?! I heard Roman say you have to "let the steak cook" in this case….is it cooking in a crockpot?!

Listen, I don't have any definitive proof that Vince McMahon was the one who booked Roman Reigns to win in that main event, but I'm also positive he had a hand in it. He just can't help himself. Of course he put the hit on Cody! Did you hear how happy the fans were when Cody was about to win?! Vince can't be having that!

The RAW After Mania was mostly ATROCIOUS, and word came out immediately afterwards that Vince was back in charge of creative (unsurprisingly) after the sale of WWE, so I guess prepare for more of that. This crazy old sunofabitch might've really sold the company just to put himself back in power like he's Logan Roy.

I hopped into the Basement with the "Then, Now, and Forever" of Barstool's wrestling coverage and discussed it all this week….

Check it out. I think we've got three pretty unique perspectives and the reviews (YouTube comments) are great.
