Dan Hurley Claims UConn Should Be Up 20 At Halftime - He's Right, Because San Diego State's Offense Was Horrific To Watch

I know some people are mad about Dan Hurley correctly saying this. I don't know how else to say it. He's right. UConn should be up 20. Why? Because San Diego State's offense is fucking pathetic:

11 minutes without a bucket! I don't know how that's even possible. I mean, we knew San Diego State's offense is bad, but 11 minutes without a bucket after starting the first 4 minutes by hitting shots and looking the part? You can accidentally make a basket in 11 minutes. Even against this UConn defense.

However, San Diego State simply has no plan on offense. They keep trying to run this dribble handoff or do a high ball screen with Jackson and Sanogo as the two main defenders. Why? Attack one of the guards. Even when they do get clan looks, San Diego State is just throwing up bricks. 

It's not shocking that 60 points in the first half is the lowest total in a title game since …… 2011 in Houston. Butler vs UConn. It's a minor miracle that San Diego State is only down 12. I know this is sort of what they've done all Tournament. Hang around and finish to win a close game. But UConn is a different team than anyone they've played. Even with Clingan and Hawkins in foul trouble. It just doesn't matter.
