He Just.....Dropped It

I've seen my fair share of losses as an Orioles fan, especially in Boston. This one may take the cake. A 7-1 lead. GONE. Didn't matter, they had their closer on the mound and a chance to win in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and a 1 run lead. Ryan McKenna, known for his defense, in left field. Can of corn fly ball to end the game. Right to him. Couldn't be an easier fly ball. And then he just....dropped it. He dropped it. Me and every dad all over the Baltimore area were shouting "YOU HAVE TWO HANDS, USE THEM!". He just dropped it. He dropped it. It was in his hands and he dropped it. Like...how do you drop it? It's a routine play! I've made this catch in Howard County Sunday night slow pitch 1,000 times. He just dropped it. 

Obviously you knew what is going to happen next, 2-run walk-off home run that didn't even get into the seats. Orioles lose and all of Baltimore is left with their jaw on the ground. That was a disgusting loss. Just a kick in the gut disgusting loss. 7-1 lead, 1 run lead in the bottom of the 9th and a can of corn fly ball to a guy known for his defense. He just dropped it.
