In this week's Donnie And Dave's Dominican Extravaganza, we took a trip out to Boca Chica, a resort town about halfway between Santo Domingo and San Pedro. 

Boca Chicago was supposed to be our day of sabbath; we didn't really have anything planned for that day's afternoon, so we said "fuck it, let's go to the beach." 

So that's what we did. Calling Boca Chica a resort town is a stretch though. It was gross and filled with a bunch of white dudes (mostly from Europe) trying to pick up hookers (presumably):

So naturally, I was "in my bag" and had the time of my life. In fact, I had so much fun that the alcohol intake counteracted my antibiotic intake from the food poisoning earlier in the trip that I felt even more miserable than I did before the food poisoning. If we're being honest, I think I had Corona. Again. The symptoms were the exact same, at least - shoulders, knees and back sore as fuck, chest hurt, no appetite. 

It is what it is though. Push through and make content out of it. Did I almost blow our entire bank roll? Kinda. We would have figured it out though. We "figured it out" the entire trip and that's what made it great. 

If you haven't watched the whole series, knock off a few hours this morning and do so. People have sincerely loved it thus far. Next week we travel deep into the Dominican hood "La 42 Capotillo" or "Ensanche Capotillo" which is the American equivalent of Engelwood or Garfield Park. Not safe!
