CBB IN 60: A 15 Seed Returns To The Sweet 16, The Defending Champs Are Done, And More Favorites Advance

For the third straight year, a 15 seed is heading to the Sweet 16. The Princeton Tigers out of the Ivy League are moving onto the second weekend after a convincing win over Missouri. This is also the second straight tournament that a Cinderella run is being made by a team from the state of New Jersey… and we still have Fairleigh Dickinson to come tonight.

San Diego State crushes Furman. Tennessee eliminates Duke, and the Vols will be favored to go to the Elite Eight… and we had another 1 seed go down! The Muss Bus and Arkansas knocked out defending champion Kansas. Awkward handshakes for everyone!

After being down 10 at the half, No. 1 Houston rolled in the 2nd half over Auburn. Texas held off Penn State (I think Rodney Terry deserves the permanent job there), and UCLA beats Northwestern.

Finally, the top overall seed advances as well: Alabama beat Maryland in the late game and will face SDSU in Louisville in Friday.
