Tiger Woods' Ex-Girlfriend Is Alleging He Tricked Her Into Thinking They Were Going On Vacation Before Finding Out She Had Been Dumped And Kicked Out Of The House

New York Post -- Tiger Woods’ ex-girlfriend Erica Herman has accused the golf star of tricking her into leaving his Florida mansion under the guise of going on a “short vacation” — only to lock her out amid their messy and shocking split, newly unveiled court documents allege.

The court papers state that those working on behalf of Woods’ trust convinced Herman to “pack a suitcase for a short vacation and, when she arrived at the airport, they told her she had been locked out of her residence, in violation of the oral tenancy agreement and in violation of Florida law.”

Herman alleges that Woods paid for a “hotel room and certain expenses for a short period of time” — and “frightened her away from returning” to the property.

Those working for Woods subsequently removed her personal belongings and took $40,000 in cash that belonged to her before making “scurrilous and defamatory allegations about how she obtained the money,” the court documents allege.

In the landlord filing, Herman claimed the couple had an “oral agreement” that ensured she could live at the mansion for a total of 11 years — and she still had five years remaining when the golf star called it quits on their relationship.

Based on the time left on her five-year tenancy, Herman argued in court papers that she was entitled to compensation of roughly $30 million.

In an attempt to dismiss his ex-girlfriend’s complaint, Woods’ attorney fired back in court documents alleging Herman was the one who removed her belongings after the golf champ dumped her and told her “she was no longer welcome in the residence.”

First off, it would be irresponsible of me not to acknowledge the fact that there's a very vague alleged sexual assault and harassment element to this story. That was the story that TMZ honed in on when breaking (I think they broke it) the news yesterday morning.

The NY Post article somewhat characterizes the allegations as the only ends to a means to be released from an NDA, but things of that nature are nothing to brush over. I very much hope those allegations, whatever they may be, are false for her sake.

All of that aside, the (alleged) notion of Tiger having concocting a grand scheme like this to dump his girlfriend is hilarious to think about. I mean who? Who among us has not (allegedly) goaded a stage 5 clinger to the airport only to lock them out of our $50+ million mansions? I challenge any of you with your pitchforks out to look yourself in the mirror and tell yourself with a straight face that you've never been there.

This is just breakup 101. We all have our (alleged) oral tenant agreements with significant others for numerous years. Some are long, some are short. Tiger's happened to be 11, which is a pretty lengthy one. Might've overextended himself there, but sometimes that's the cost of doing business.

I'll use a sports parallel given that this is Barstool SPORTS: If you want Albert Pujols at age 32, sometimes you gotta sign up for Albert Pujols at age 40. Even if that doesn't mean you're gonna play all that out. You take the good when it's good and worry about the rest later. Later came and it was time to get out. And by get out, I mean fire off a text to the lady that we're going to Cabo, buy a room at the Motel 6 a few towns over, and leave a check on the nightstand for her when your people drop her off.

Totally routine stuff. Allegedly.
