I Am Addicted To Pickleball, And There Is No Turning Back

It all started out in Arizona during Super Bowl Week. Big Cat, PFT, Hank, and myself played a game of pickleball at the New Amsterdam Vodka House in Scottsdale. You can watch the match in its entirety right here:

If you tuned in, you could clearly tell that NONE of us knew the rules, as it was each of our first times playing pickleball. I'll take the blame for this one. But right when things started to click and I fully understood what was going on, I immediately became addicted to one the fastest growing sports out there. In fact, on a recent episode of Pardon My Take, we each went around the room and came up with some individual hobbies that we would be participating in now that football season is over…

Fortunately, the DC Pickleball Team (sponsored by Stella Blue Coffee) gifted each of us with an awesome paddle to keep, so I brought that home to New York and started playing with it immediately…

I am also registered in a league that starts next month…

Obviously, this is a busy time of year with March Madness on deck. But, I am trying to play pickleball as much as possible. I'd like to think that I am decent as a beginner (given my tennis and ping pong backgrounds #BITO), but I have run into some really, really good players around NYC over the last few weeks…

The bottom line is this: I am addicted to pickleball, and there is no turning back. If you play in the NYC area, DM me. Would love to play as often as possible.
