On today's Pardon My Take… CHICAGO BEARS HEAD COACH MATT EBERFLUS AND GM RYAN POLES! The duo from the Windy City joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to discuss the No. 1 pick in this year's draft, coaching with Nick Saban, cats, and much more.

In case you didn't know, Mr. Cat is very, very excited that his Bears are currently on the clock in the draft. He has been talking through plenty of hypotheticals on what Chicago should do, whether it is trading back, trading Justin FIelds, and/or keeping the pick. After all of that talk, he presented an idea to the Bears HC and GM on today's show. Here is what he wants…

- Bears trade pick 1 to Texans for picks 2, 12, 33, plus two first rounder in 2024

- Bears trade pick 2 (via HOU) to Seahawks for picks 5, 20, plus one first rounder in 2024

- Bears trade pick 5 (via SEA) to Falcons for picks 8, 44, plus one first rounder in 2024

- Bears trade pick 8 (via ATL) to Lions for pick 18, plus one first rounder in 2024

Final product: Bears receive 6 first round picks in 2024, plus hold onto the 12th, 18th, and 20th this year.

Poles and Eberflus said that there is NO CAP on the amount of trades that the Bears are willing to make, so never say never. If Chicago makes these moves, Mr. Cat deserves the credit.
