Short King SZN: Kansas State RB Deuce Vaughn Measured In At 5'5, The Shortest Player Ever Measured At The Combine

Look, I'm not short compared to my coworkers PFT (5'8), Glenny Balls (5'7), and Dave (5'3)

But clocking in at an above-average 5'9 I understand the plight of the short king. Trying to see the stage at concerts, trying to get a drink at the bar, there are some things the shorter half struggle to do. But now those on the smaller side have a new king in the castle: Kansas State RB Deuce Vaughn.

I swear to god that's an official Getty picture, not photoshopped. I cannot fathom how good of an athlete Deuce Vaughn is. He will likely play in the NFL at only 5'5, which seems impossible. I always think about it- Muggsy Bogues made the NBA at only 5'3- can you imagine how awesome he would have been at basketball if he was 6'0? Is Muggsy inch for inch the best player to ever play basketball? Am I really high right now? You decide.

Honestly I can't get over how fake that above picture looks. That photographer deserves a Pulitzer.
