LSU's Gavin Dugas Drove A Bomb Deep In the Heart of Texas

LSU and Texas battled 8 scoreless innings at the Disch. Finally Gavin Dugas hit this 3 run bomb in the 9th inning to lead #1 LSU to a 3-0 win in a rowdy atmosphere in Austin.

This was a solid early season road win for the top ranked Tigers who have recovered nicely from the 12-4 loss to Iowa last Saturday.

Watching this game tonight has me excited about adding Texas to the SEC. Cannot wait til these are conference games in the not too distant future.

Louisiana Tech pulled off an upset in Oxford 6-5 over #4 Ole Miss as a pretty big underdog.

The Bulldogs were no hit through 4 innings and trailing 4-0 when everything changed on this 3 run homer by Brody Drost.

Thanks Glenny Balls for jinxing the Rebs.

LA Tech has a very solid program but was off to a rocky early season start. This could be the win to get them back on the right track.

I expect Ole Miss to bounce back tomorrow and this is also not that bad of a loss in the long college baseball season. LA Tech has given Ole Miss trouble in all 3 major sports fairly recently.

Florida Atlantic got a huge home win over the Miami Hurricanes and is one of the top teams in CUSA. That win gave me a positive night on the Barstool Sportsbook again in college baseball.

Mississippi State won a hard fought 10-9 game over Southern Miss in Jackson. Duke smoked East Carolina 9-0 right after the Pirates got in the top 10 and Texas A&M took out all their frustration from Portland series loss in a 23-0 win over Houston Christian whoever the heck they are.
