NHL Players Refuse To Keep Their Saliva To Themselves, K'Andre Miller Gets Ejected For Spitting On Drew Doughty
Listen. Any chance you get to do something in the NHL that Wayne Gretzky has never accomplished before, you gotta take it. And I'm almost certain that Gretzky never got kicked out of a game for spitting in a dude's face before. So congratulations to K'Andre Miller on setting a new record for most career games ejected for launching a loogie at an opponent.
I gotta be honest this new era of hockey is getting pretty dangerous. Dangerously kinky, that is. Used to be that guys would cave each other's faces in. Now you have guys like Brad Marchand licking their face, and K'Andre Miller hocking some spit in Doughty's mouth.
Just a wild spot we find our sport in these days. But hey, let the boys be boys. That's what I always say. A shame the refs had to come in here and put an end to a good time.
Anyway, this is a hilarious situation to take into consideration now.
I don't see Miller getting anything more than a fine for this loogie. But could you imagine if somehow the league decides to suspend him and that completely fucks the Kane deal? God that would rule so hard.
P.S. -- I feel like Jaroslav Halak blinks once a week.
