Damian Lillard And The Blazers Made A Music Video On The Team Plane After Being Delayed 7 Hours Proving There Are Worse Things In The World Than Being Delayed On A Private Plane
TMZ Sports - Being stuck on a plane for 7 hours sounds terrible, right?! Not if you're Damian Lillard or the Portland Trailblazers ... 'cause the NBA team turned the unfortunate incident into a rap music video!!
So, the Blazers were supposed to be flying from Portland International Airport to Sacramento, California for Thursday's game against the Kings, but a severe snowstorm delayed their chartered flight for 7 hours.
Though the flight was ultimately canceled, the team took advantage of their time together on the plane by making a dope music video!
Getting delayed on a plane sucks. SUCKSSSSS. Quick reminder, that's on regular people planes. I have never been on a full length private jet but have had the opportunity to travel in style on smaller private planes (Thanks Dave for that experience), and my take is while being delayed on regular people planes sucks out loud, being delayed on a team jet would actually be pretty cool.
Hear me out. First off those planes look sick. Drinks, snacks, full reclining seats, tables to sit with people, TV's and I'm sure all sorts of extra gadgets and gizmos that I can only imagine rich people enjoy. To be delayed but have the ability to sleep, or hangout with your teammates isn't that bad.
A big thing on these planes is card games. I always like a friendly card game. My favorite was a version of Rummy called Continental in which 4-6 players play, and you accumulate points toward 101, but the wrinkle is you can buy back (for potato chips or candy. I only play for snacks) the highest remaining score and get back into the game. The buys (of snacks) increase as you do it, but the fun of it is you are never really out of the game until the very end, and the very end becomes super intense and high risk. It's awesome. Anyway, cards with your friends is a great way to unwind, and NBA card games seem like a blast. Imagine a big intense card game, drinking a few High Noons and busting chops with your pals. I bet 3-4 hours could pass before you even remember you're on the plane. You could also catch up on TV, watch a movie, or like I said sleep in style. I don't think being delayed on a private jet is all that awful.

As far as the music video. It's not bad, not great...but not bad and the rap is kinda clever which as I learned makes sense since Damian Lillard is considered the best rapper in the NBA and takes the craft pretty serious.
