Tyler Kolek's Big Balls And Telling Everyone To Fuck Off - The Simple Reason Why Marquette Is The Biggest Surprise In College Hoops

Marquette is one of the most unique, surprising teams in the country. I say unique because they are the weird mix of being young, good yet don't have a ton of NBA prospects. Usually if you're good while young, you have guys going to the NBA. There's some interest, but you're not looking at current 1st round projections, meaning these guys can come back and have a run for a few years.

Anyways, last night was an AWESOME game between them and Creighton.

Before I say anything else no this was not a foul on Marquette:

Close, but not foul. Just back away man. Also the foul they called on Creighton on the inbound was correct. Nembhard held before the pass - time shouldn't have come off the clock. But he had a quick hold in the open before poking the ball away. Anyways, just had to say this.

Have to get back on track and show the plays proving Tyler Kolek does in fact have big balls:

Just took over the game late after doing a little bit of everything for Marquette before that Shit, I saw people comparing him to Collin Gillespie already, which is just hilarious. You're a white point guard in the Big East you're immediately compared to him or Arch.

I still don't truly understand it. Part of me is convinced the fact Shaka wears a polo shirt from the campus book store and a long sleeve t-shirt is good juju. This Marquette team shouldn't be good. They overachieved a year ago and lost Morsell, Lewis, Elliot and Kurath. But now Marquette is going to win the Big East. They are going to be like a 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

It's all because Tyler Kolek is a gigantic asshole. I mean that as a compliment too. He doesn't give a shit about who he's playing or what Marquette was 'supposed' to be. More importantly he's at least a personality. We need more of this in college basketball. Tell the media to fuck off for voting you 9th. Talk about your gigantic balls. He deserves it at this point.
