WATCH: The New Trailer For 'John Wick 4' Gets Some Sopranos Inspiration

With the price on his head ever increasing, legendary hit man John Wick takes his fight against the High Table global as he seeks out the most powerful players in the underworld, from New York to Paris to Japan to Berlin.

This trailer took one major risk: Using 'Woke Up This Morning' by Alabama 3. That song is singularly tied to arguably the best and most beloved TV series ever made, so trying to hijack it would be a death sentence for any other property.

However, It's John Wick. If any franchise has earned the right to use this song post-sopranos, it is our favorite puppy avenger. "Got myself a gun" is the synopsis of at lease one major scene in all three installments. Side note: A site I use a lot with action movies is IMFDB(Internet movie firearms database) which is basically the IMDB for guns in movies. Reading through their John Wick entries is a blast. My other biggest takeaway (no pun intended) is that they got Scott Adkins, one of the more iconic B and C level action stars, in a fat suit. I absolutely love that and can't wait to see his creepy-ass British villain who kinda reminds me of Matt Lucas in Polar.

In case you missed my blog on the last trailer, I'll reiterate what has me pumped for it.

#1. John Wick is the most consistent franchise running right now. Three movies, zero misses. Not only that, they ushered in a new wave of action movies into hollywood.  No more shakeycam stunt actors delivering clumsy hooks with BOOF, ZAP sound effects. Now, we have action movies directed by former stuntmen that know how to make the fights feel real. What's also great about this franchise is that they don't have any "relatable" romantic subplot. They have grief and narratives told through violence. John Wick has said like 5 words throughout the 3 movies but we feel like we know everything about him.

#2. Keanu takes this shit seriously. He performs as many of his own stunts as he can and trains HARD,

#3. This movie has made some major additions to the cast. Donnie Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada and Scott Adkins are incredible adds for this franchise. Yen is a martial arts movie legend that has an insane catelogue of phenomenal moives. THe most famous of which is the incredible IP MAN franchise. Just check out his repertoire

Yen has displayed skill in an array of martial arts, being well-versed in Tai Chi, Boxing, Kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Hapkido, Mixed Martial Arts, Taekwondo, Karate, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Hung Ga, Sanda, Judo, Wing Chun, and Wushu.

Sanada also has roots in martial arts, learning Kempo and karate before becoming an actor. You probably know him from a bunch of movies like 'The Last Samurai' or 'The Wolverine'. Lastly, there is the action B movie GOAT, Scott Adkins. He has been in a million action movies and always delivers a very physical performance. He actually fought Donnie Yen in Ip Man 4.

I'll call my shot and say John Wick 4 is gonna be a banger just like the three movies that came before it.
