Ugh, It's So Embarrassing When The Team Who Won The Super Bowl Celebrates - At Least According To The Wife Of An Eagles WR

This is Leah Covey, wife of Britian Covey, a WR/special teams guy on the Eagles. Just to set the stage here. She somehow, incredibly, put something on social media that's worse than anything Jackson Mahomes has done. She thinks it's - and I quote - embarrassing that the Chiefs ran clock and then celebrated winning the Super Bowl.
She went full Ayesha Curry calling the league rigged. She can't blame it on drunken social media antics. We've all been there. But she's pregnant. So rule that one out. I get being upset about the penalty - even if it's a clear holding call and James Bradberry admitted so. But saying it's embarrassing the Chiefs are celebrating winning the Super Bowl?
Quick question - would the Eagles celebrate if they won and didn't call a hold? Yes. Would the Eagles celebrate if they won despite the Miles Sander clear fumble for a touchdown being ruled incomplete? Yes. Ugh, embarrassing. Hate when teams hit the peak celebrate it. Just the worst.
Again, call me crazy, but only if there was something the Eagles could have done to prevent this:
If only the defense, you know, made a stop when they were up double digits. That probably would have helped. Just a crazy thought though. I mean, hey, credit for not deleting anything when she's getting killed in the comments. Respect for that. But somehow this is the most outrageous take from the Super Bowl.
There will be no celebrating on Leah Covey's watch. That's a promise.
