Travis Kelce Achieved Peak Self-Delusion By Believing The World Gave The Chiefs No Chance To Win Super Bowl LVII

Travis Kelce, you absolute ledge, with all due respect: What the actual fuck are you even talking about?

Below is the longer version of the clip where once again Kelce crashes Patrick Mahomes' postgame interview as he's often wont to do. But I get it. You just won a Super Bowl. Any lapses in decorum can be excused.

For real though, Travis Kelce. Many people consider you the very best pass-catching tight end of all-time. You just had six catches on six targets for 81 yards and a TD in a 38-35 Super Bowl LVII victory. Everyone knows you're getting the ball and no one can ever stop you. Your quarterback Mahomes just won his second Super Bowl MVP and is ALREADY being touted as a top-five QB of all-time without much pushback at all.

Were there some reasons to doubt the Chiefs? Sure. They were playing a lot of rookies at key spots and lost a one-of-one playmaker in Tyreek Hill. To the credit of a constantly forward-looking coaching staff led by Andy Reid, Kansas City's offense evolved, and its myriad young players stepped up and played well enough to claim the Lombardi Trophy.

But I'm not here for this imagined disrespect from Kelce. Come on, bro. Don't kid yourself. You know everyone respects the Chiefs. How could you not? LOOK I KNOW some players from my beloved Bengals talked a little too much shit prior to the AFC Championship Game. Are these like...residual effects from a very vocal minority aka basically only Eli Apple still bothering you this much?

Damn I wish the guy could take more joy in winning. What a shame. Then again, this type of monomaniacal competitive mindset is a pretty common trait among great players. Congrats to the Chiefs though for real. I'm just taking the piss out of Kelce and KC a little bit. You could say I'm a little salty still from that Bengals loss.

I guess if anyone remaining on Planet Earth still disrespected or doubted the Chiefs for some odd reason, Super Bowl LVII put an end to that. At least I hope so. Who knows what the fuck Travis Kelce is reading? Is he on fringe conspiracy AFC West message boards getting his motivational fodder? Or has he undergone the Severance procedure, taken up a side hustle as a Chiefs-hating fan-fic writer during non-football hours, and used the libelous vitriol penned by his alter ego to drive him to a second Super Bowl win? I don't think we'll ever know for sure.
