Here's The Truth: The Eagles Blew That Game, The Penalty Was Just The Final Dagger

Want to say the Chiefs won that game? Fine. I'll accept that too. But here's the facts. The Eagles got literally 0 stops in the second half. They gave up 24 points. They blew a lead. They gave up the longest punt return in Super Bowl history. Does the penalty suck? Of course. No one wants to see a game decided on a penalty. But the Eagles did everything possible to blow that game in the second half.

Ever since Arian Foster made the joke about the script, it's all everyone says on Twitter now. I see Bengals fans, Eagles fans, anyone who didn't want the Chiefs to win say the script was there. NFL rigged even. Must have been one hell of a script for the Eagles to blow the lead. Must have been one hell of a script for all that to happen only for a questionable penalty to be called. Actually I might be loose with questionable. I mean, these script writers are out of control with this quote.

Yes the penalty was the dagger. But hear me out. Don't give up the 17-yard scramble to Mahomes to set it up. Don't give up the 10-yard rush to Pacheco on 3rd and 1. Almost like the Eagles could have made stops before it. Crazy, I know. Did the ending feel flat? Sure. Of course. We all expected some crazy last second play. But the Eagles fucking blew it. Shame.

PS: Remember how everyone said the refs missed a key PI/defensive holding on the Eagles in the first half to end a drive? Or how the two challenges went against the Chiefs. That damn script.
