Jalen Hurts Gets Strip-Sacked And Scored On By Nick Bolton In A Stunning Super Bowl LVII Sequence, Proceeds To TOTALLY REDEEM HIMSELF

The Philadelphia Eagles hadn't turned it over all postseason long. Couldn't have had their first miscue at a much worse time in Super Bowl LVII.

Really the sequence of events here is troubling for Philly. On a 2nd and 1, they come up just shy of the first-down yardage, and show a sneak formation on 3rd and short...only to false start. Then the ensuing play happens, where sure-handed Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts gets strip-sacked by Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton, who scoops and scores to tie the score at 14.

All the FOX telecast afterwards could say about Hurts is how composed and and even-keeled he remains no matter what's happening. For the sake of Philly fans, they'll have to hope that holds true on football's grandest stage.

Hurts started the next drive with a QB draw for a first down, so he's not shying away whatsoever from the moment. maybe he was just doing what he could to keep Patrick Mahomes off the field for a good chunk of game time so he can inflate his numbers, will his team back and win Super Bowl MVP.

Just kidding we all know the NFL is scripted and Hurts was forced to become a butterfingers bro in that pivotal moment regardless of his ulterior motives.

LO AND BEHOLD: Hurts gets the Chiefs to jump on 4th and 2 on the ensuing possession and ran into the end zone to give the Eagles a 21-14 lead.

Hell yeah, Jalen Hurts. Punching adversity in the face in real time and accounting for three first-half TDs…plus one to the other team.
