Chris Simms, Dumbass, Is Still Obsessed With Trying To Discredit Jalen Hurts
Chris Simms is going through hell right now. He's built an entire brand around shitting on Jalen Hurts only to see the 2nd year starter lead the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl and become an MVP finalist. This dumbass had Jalen Hurts ranked outside of his top 32 quarterbacks heading into last season, and had him ranked as the 25th best quarterback in the league heading into this year. That put him behind Zach Wilson. Behind Daniel Jones. Behind Baker Mayfield. Behind Derek Carr. Behind Kyler Murray and Deshaun Watson.
Jalen Hurts now has as many playoff wins as all of those quarterbacks combined.
The fact that any network allows him to open his mouth anymore is baffling. There's losing all of your credibility, and then there's being the dumbest sack of shit on the planet. Chris Simms knows ball like Marty Mush knows quantum mechanics.
Even when this bozo finally tries to walk back his take, he does nothing but rattle off a bunch of nonsensical and factually inaccurate bullshit. If playing quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles right now is set up to be the easier jobs in the game, then how does Gardner Minshew only put up 10 points against the New Orleans Saints in one of the most pathetic performances of the season? How do the Eagles lose the only 2 games that Jalen doesn't start all year? You want to say it's so easy that anybody could do it, when we just saw a month ago that it's quite literally not.
And as far as not being a top 10 passer goes...well Jalen was top 10 in passing yards despite missing 2 games, top 10 in completion percentage, top 5 in QBR. Only had 3 fewer passing touchdowns than Justin Herbert despite playing in 2 fewer games. So yeah... either Chris Simms hates facts and stats, or he just hates Jalen Hurts. Either way, the man has no honor and no integrity and no brain cells.
