Watching Scott Rolen Tell His Parents That He Made The Hall Of Fame Will Immediately Bring Tears To Your Eyes

Military homecomings, lost pets finding their way home, and athletes telling their parents they made the Hall Of Fame. Three things that immediately make me start tearing up. We got that yesterday when Scott Rolen found out that he was the lone wolf heading into Cooperstown. Great job by someone in the Rolen family to start filming because he comes out and tells his mom and you could see he could barely keep it together. She probably drove him to hundreds and hundreds of practice growing up and now he’ll always be known as one of the best. Awesome moment with Scott and his mother. I assume it’s his daughters in the background and we see them start crying when he’s hugging his mom, not a dry eye in that kitchen.

Then he heads over to his dad and again, if you aren’t crying by now then you just don’t have a heart. Quite an embrace with Scott and his dad, you can see it on his face how happy and excited he is. What an awesome gift it must be to be able to tell your parents that their kid is one of the best ever at their job. Just a great video all around that will give you goosebumps. A very wholesome video, easily my favorite part of the Hall Of Fame stuff.
