If You Are A Kansas Jayhawks Fan, I Have A Message For You

TCU absolutely THROTTLED Kansas at home. I mean ... THROTTLED. Bill Raftery said on the broadcast he has never heard Allen Fieldhouse aka The Phog that quiet. 

TCU shot the lights out. 54.4 % from the field total and a remarkable 53.3 % from 3pt. While it seemed from the opening tip Kansas couldn't buy a bucket (39% fg, 33% from 3). Most notably from Dajuan Harris and Gradey Dick. Dick was 3-13 from the field, but Harris was held scoreless. That is a tad concerning. Especially when you look at his last 3 games. Scoreless vs Iowa St, 3 points vs K State, and scoreless today. 

I have raved about his play, 

Him struggling is a bit concerning. He needs to be scoring, especially the way he can shoot from 3, for the Jayhawks to be successful. 

I also understand the upcoming schedule is a gauntlet . @Baylor, @ Kentucky, vs K St,. @ Iowa State and vs Texas in their next 4. And every night in the B12 is a war. I also get the worries of having a 6'7 center. 

But here's my message ... 

If you remember, Kansas got throttled at home around the same time last year vs Kentucky. 

Some days it just ain't going to go your way. Some days the other team can't miss. That happens. Sometimes you lose two in a row when you play in the best league in the country. You still have an absolute loaded roster pf prime time playmakers, you shoot the ball well, you can defend, you have a MEGASTAR in Jalen Wilson who's won before, and oh one last reminder … your coach is one oft the best in the game. 

Some have said they would pick him over anyone else in the country. 

Yes … you played like shit today. And yes, the schedule is tough. But remind yourself that you got waxed at home last year and ended up cutting down the nets. 

If I'm making predictions I'm still putting Kansas in the group of teams who can win a title. So if you are a Jayhawks fan take a long shower and wash this one off, come back tomorrow with this one out of your memory, come to grips with the fact that some days everyone stinks, and tell yourself things will be fine, because you 10000% are still contending for a title. 

Bonus point … TCU is legit. Fans should be excited for that team as well.
