Manny Ramirez Thinks Shohei Ohtani Deserves A $500 Million Contract Next Offseason

All eyes will be on Shohei Ohtani next baseball offseason and rightfully so, the guy is going to sign a record breaking deal. One of the guys who thinks that Ohtani is going to make bank? Manny Ramirez, who has recently dipped his toes into the agent game.

Manny was speaking with Hector Gomez and said he would give Ohtani $500 million, $250 million for what he can do with the bat and $250 million for what he can do on the mound....and he's not really wrong.

If you go back and look I've been saying for a while that Ohtani is the most talented player we have ever seen play baseball and it's not even close. He's going to get paiiiiiiiiiiid next year baring any extreme injury this season and he deserves every penny.

Look at this! He's basically Giancarlo Stanton combined with Max Scherzer, which is why his contract is going to smash both of theirs. Obviously the Dodgers have to be looked at as the favorite considering they have all the money in the world and Shohei is already in nearby Anaheim.

If the Dodgers are involved, along with a few other owners like Steve Cohen's Mets, I can easily see Shohei's deal starting with a "5"e. People used to clown Manny for saying wild stuff and being a goof, but he's 100% on the right path about a baseball player potentially landing a deal worth half a billion dollars.
