Introducing The Pardon My Take Officiating Call Of The Week Featuring Ryen Russillo

On last Wednesday's episode of Pardon My Take, Ryen Russillo joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter to discuss a handful of topics. One of them included the criticism of officiating across all sports, and how fans, players, and coaches only seem to talk negative about the product that we see. But that is not the case on the Pardon My Take podcast (at least for now). The trio on today's show came up with the idea of the "Pardon My Take Officiating Call of the Week Featuring Ryen Russillo."

So, Mr. Commenter was tasked me with seeking out a great call by a referee or official in any sport, and each week, we are going to award that person with a shoutout on the show. Without further ado, it's time to present the inaugural "Pardon My Take Officiating Call of the Week Featuring Ryen Russillo..."

Congratulations to Line Judge (No. 65) Walt Coleman IV! On this 3rd & 4, it appears at first glance that the Giants converted the first down without any issue. And then when you see Coleman's spot at the bottom of the screen, you think, "Huh?! That's an awful spot!." But then, FOX showed the replay and there is a clear bobble by Giants WR Isaiah Hodgins. Coleman was all over it and didn't even hesitate. This call earns him the inaugural "Pardon My Take Officiating Call Of The Week Featuring Ryen Russillo!"

We'll see you back here next week for the next presentation of the "Pardon My Take Officiating Call Of The Week Featuring Ryen Russillo."
