'That Was The Worst Trade In NBA History' - Charles Barkley Is Fucking Disgusted By Rudy Gobert On The Timberwolves

I've said it before, multiple people have said it before. But we need more people like Charles Barkley. People who just tell it as it is without a care in the world. Some people would skirt around the issue and sort of try to be nice. Nope. Charles Barkley is just flat out disgusted and rightfully so. Everyone said it at the time of the trade. Why give up all those first round picks for Rudy Gobert? 

It's not like it's working out. They are 1 game below .500 when everyone predicted they'd be a good team. They aren't. Multiple reasons, sure. Injuries played a part, sure. But it's mostly fit. You bring in this guy Rudy Gobert and just clog the lane when Anthony Edwards is at his best driving. 

But we don't need to breakdown everything that's wrong with the Timberwolves. Just know they went for win-now by giving up Walker Kessler (1st round pick), Pat Bev, Malik Beasley, Jared Vanderbilt, 4 first round picks and a pick swap for Gobert. Yikes. That trade stinks. Unless you win a title. That's the only way it doesn't stink. Anytime you win a title, the trade is worth it. Ask the Rams. They got the Super Bowl, you think they give a shit about the future? That's a future (maybe present) Rams problem. But they have the one title. 

I just love how Chuck doesn't hold back. It's part of what makes Inside the NBA so great. You get their actual thoughts. Is it right most of the time? Absolutely not. But it's opinion based. I don't care if Chuck butchers names or they forget who plays for who. We at least get unfiltered thoughts. We at least get personality and willing to piss people off.
