Twitter Has Unveiled A New "For You" Tab Based On An Algorithm Of Users' Interests, And People Are Melting The Fuck Down

Twitter is melting down today. Again. People want Elon's head either on a stake or to replace George Washington with it on the $1 bill. 

Just another day, right? Right. Polarization rules the world these days. 

If you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, consider yourself lucky. That means you don't have Twitter, aka the cesspool of the internet. The TL/DR is this: TikTok (which I've never had or registered for) has a "For You" tab which is a collection of algorithmic videos placed in front of the user's eyeballs from accounts they may or may not follow. The videos are supposed to be tailored to one's interests based on what that person has viewed in the past. 

It's not too dissimilar to IG's "discover" tab. For mine, IG's algorithm picks up that I love hot chicks, food and dogs:

And now Twitter is doing the exact same thing. They're not even calling it something different from TikTok's "For You", and people are PISSED. 

Side note: The IG discover tab is exactly why I don't have TikTok btw. I'll get stoned as fuck and next thing you know, it'll be 12am and I just spent 2 hours scrolling back to June of 2017 in some IG model's feed because the IG algorithm coerced me into doing so. They win, I lose. I admit that, and I also admit it rots my brain. I don't need other apps rotting my brain too, personally, so that's why I don't do TikTok or whatever else is out there. 

But like… shut the fuck up people. You don't hate the change because Elon and his team made it and you hate him poltically, you hate it simply because you're not used to it. That's it, and I include myself in that. I think it stinks and I don't want it. Quit your goddamn bitching and learn to live with it though. Chances are Elon will change it back in a week anyways. 

Shut the fuck up! People bitch so much it makes me bitch about their bitching. 

Worry about things that matter… like who the White Sox are going to open the season with as their 2B and whether or not they will continue adding depth pieces to the starting rotation like they should. Is that too hard? It's not Elon that's destroying Twitter, it's the incessant bitching and moaning that's destroying (destroyed?) Twitter.

If ya don't like it, ya know what you can do? 

Move to Instagram or other social media platforms. 

UPDATE: if Elon wants to woo me like he should, he should make the mute function actually work. When I mute some greasy Yankees fan with a Gerrit Cole profile picture, I want it so I can't see SHIT of that accounts. Not this tab: 

Whenever I see the option to "view" a response to an account I've muted, I can't help but click it. I'm like a mosquito and the "view" option is one of those bug zappers
