So You Are Telling Me TCU Has A Chance Tonight?!?!?

The National Championship Game is tonight! And I am FIRED UP to watch it the brand spanking new  Barstool Sportsbook at L'Auberge Baton Rouge!

The cinderella story TCU Horned Frogs are a 13 point underdog to the mighty Georgia Bulldogs with an Over/Under of 62.5 on the Barstool Sportsbook.

I believe that TCU actually has a shot to win the whole damn thing tonight and here is why.

The Georgia Pass Defense has been shredded for over 800 yards in their last two games against LSU & Ohio State. TCU has a high flying offense led by QB Max Duggan and star WR Quentin Johnson. I have faith in Coach Sonny Dykes and his Horned Frogs to score points to give them a chance in this game.

Georgia is the best team in the country but their defense is not what it was in 2021 when the national champions had a whopping 5 1st round picks! 

I took five plays tonight on the Barstool Sportsbook:

1) TCU +7.5 1H

2) TCU +285 1H ML

These two go hand in hand. I did the exact same thing and cashed with TCU against Michigan in the semifinal. I expect TCU to come out playing loose with nothing to lose again. They LOVE the underdog role and have been riding it all year. I much prefer TCU in 1st half to the game because UGA has an advantage at the line of scrimmage on OL/DL that could show up big in the 2nd half.

3) Over 239.5 Max Duggan Passing

UGA's secondary got shredded by LSU and Ohio State. This line feels about 40-50 yards too low to me. TCU has weapons in the passing game and Duggan can sling it if he gets enough time to throw.

4) Over 62.5 Points

I realize the Over looks kind of obvious after the semifinal games had 96 and 83 points respectively. But I keep coming back to the fact that I believe TCU can air it out against UGA. And UGA will def score points on TCU's Defense with a balanced attack. This game could start slower and get wilder in 2nd half like TCU/Michigan did.

5) TCU TE James WIley +510 TD

I am playing a hunch that the Texas Transfer TE gets some looks in the red zone from Duggan tonight and +510 is a helluva price!

I also gave out this +850 Parlay Plus with TCU 1H ML, Duggan's Passing Over and Over 62.5 points in the game.
