Football Guy Of The Millennium: Damar Hamlin Asked If The Bills Beat The Bengals When He Woke Up

First of all, what a blessing from God that Damar Hamlin is awake and seems to be recovering as well as anyone could have expected at this point. According to doctors at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Hamlin has been able to respond to commands and communicate through writing.

And apparently one of the first things he wanted to know upon waking up was whether or not the Bills won the game. Football seems so insignificant to everyone in the country right now and the one guy who should care the least wanted to know immediately how his teammates did. I'm sure the term "Football Guy" will be used to describe other individuals in due time, but nobody will ever be more of a Football Guy than Damar Hamlin for the rest of eternity. That guy is the best teammate that has ever existed.
