Tom Brady And The Buccaneers Are Playoff Bound And I Lost My Cool On Frank The Tank

The Carolina Panthers have been one of the hottest teams in the NFL of late. Winners of four of their last five games, they came to Tampa led by interim Head Coach Steve Wilks with nothing to lose and everything to gain. With a win, they would be in the driver's seat to win the NFC South with a win next week. They faced a Bucs team that had underperformed all season. With a sputtering offense that was nowhere near as explosive as it had been in previous seasons under Brady. 

The Bucs defense has been good most of the season, but came out flat giving up a TD early.

The Panthers increased their lead to 14-0 and I was getting nervous. But then Tom Brady and Mike Evans decided to get things rolling. Not one…

Not two…

But three times for points!

As the Bucs completed an 11 point 4th Quarter comeback, I did lose my cool in the gambling cave. I personally find Frank enjoyable. He is a grinder, works his tail off and is a true fan. As the Dolphins continued their collapse from an 8-3 start today, the gambling crew was beaten over the head with fake stats and falsehoods about the Miami Dolphins historical ineptitude. That is all fine and dandy, but it was the constant yelling that got to me. Not that he can't do that, but the fact that he was talking about a Dolphins game was all but officially over as my team came back to win the division particularly irked me so I went off.

But at the end of the day, it's about the end result, and the Buccaneers are division champions, so I wouldn't change a thing.

It took 13 years for me to even see a Playoff game, so I do not take a single one for granted. We're in the dance and anything can happen. I'm looking forward to January and hopefully February football. Go Bucs!
