Pinkerton's Has Some Real Serious BBQ in Houston!

I am on the road in Houston, Texas for the Texas Bowl tonight at 8pm between Ole Miss & Texas Tech. Anytime I am in Texas, I am dang sure hitting up some Texas BBQ. I 100% believe Texas has the best BBQ in the country (ESP the Brisket).

I started getting more involved with the BBQ world due to my ties with Hogs for the Cause in New Orleans. I have been doing some BBQ reviews the last 6 months & am getting a pretty good response.

In the spirit of that, I decided to stop by Pinkerton's BBQ in Houston. It has spectacular reviews and is ranked in the esteemed Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list in Texas.

I tried the brisket, jalapeno cheddar sausage and the glazed BBQ ribs. The brisket was moist with beautiful bark. Incredible. The glazed ribs were also spectacular. The jalapeno sausage had a lingering heat and was also good. I also tried the jalapeno cheese rice which was more like a casserole than rice. Very unique and flavorful. Run do not walk to Pinkerton's! (They also have a second location in San Antonio).

And while we are talking BBQ, Hogs For The Cause will be March 31-April 1 2023 at UNO Lakefront in New Orleans. The BBQ and Music fest raised 2.7 Million $$$ for families fighting child cancer in 2022! I look forward to being apart of the event for years to come.

The music lineup looks great headlined by St. Paul and the Broken Bones. The Devin Allman Project with Jo Jo Herman of Widespread Panic, George Porter and Anders Osborn also looks incredible! Get your tickets today and there will be a Barstool Sports presence out there once again.

Dave Portnoy and Big Cat came last year during the Final Four and loved the event. Who doesn't love world class BBQ, music and raising money for an amazing cause? Get your tickets today!
